Buy a greetings card bundle and help cancer research!

I have volunteered at the Cancer Research UK shop in Penarth for several years. It is sad to see it shut because of Coronavirus, and to know that this is just the most obvious sign of the problems that CRUK (like all charities) is trying to deal with at this difficult time.  A drop in opportunities to raise funds means a drop in the money available for CRUK’s vital research into helping beat cancer sooner. The charity doesn’t receive Government funding so every step towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated.

Now I can’t be at the shop helping with the donations that come in, I wanted to find another way to help raise money. I have put together some bundles of greetings cards to sell from which a proportion of the takings will be donated to CRUK. Each set of 3 cards showcases a particular place – Penarth Pier, Barry, Dinas Powys, Cardiff Bay and Roath Park,- plus there is a set featuring summer landscape pictures. The cost for each set is £7, which includes postage and packing, and £1.50 from this will be donated direct to CRUK.

Everyone knows someone who has needed cancer treatment, and every contribution you can make helps improve the treatment available, so why not stock up on greetings cards and benefit cancer research at the same time? Just go to the greetings cards page!
